How long after the day of your ERPC did you get your period? Was it like normal? Have you had previous ERPC's? What has your cycle been like since?

I'm so sorry for your loss :( I had an mmc in July which ended with me having a d&c. I had my period about 3 weeks after this and it was a little lighter than normal and periods have gone back to normal now so ttc again. I wish you all the luck in the world ttc again (if that's what you want of course!) xxx

I think there is a wide variation in what's normal. Me personally, I am pretty sure I ovulated 14 days after ERPC and period came after 28 days, just like a normal cycle, counting the surgery date as CD1. I got pregnant again that 2nd cycle, which I think would have been normal again for me (ovulated CD 14, so suspect it would have been another 28 day cycle). My period that first month was a bit weird. It was short, like 3 days, and then nothing and then I had another 2 days of bleeding and spotting, which never happens. I'm not sure what was going on, but obviously all fine because I got pregnant that month. Hope all goes smoothly for you as well.

I’ve had three. My cycle has gone back to normal pretty quickly, usually between 4-5 weeks post surgery. However after my last one my period came back after five weeks, then I had another period two weeks later (whilst we were camping...ugh), after that it got back to more or less normal, but I took a few months to start ovulating again.

I had my ERPC on the 6th Oct and my "period" came on the 20th of this month. It was basically 4 days of brown discharge and slight uncomfortable feeling to my belly. Can't call it cramps as it didn't really feel like they normally do when on my period, I'd normally need pain relief. My periods are usually about 5 days long and normally moderate flow for atleast the first 3 days. I'm just wondering if this is something to be concerned about.
