I'm about 6.5 weeks, Yesterday I woke up to pink spotting. Then nothing at all, this morning I woke with heavier spotting/bleeding but again it has stopped. I've been to urgent care who have booked me in I have a scan at the epau on Tuesday. I'm getting quite a lot of cramping and back pain but no more bleeding. Wondered if this in indicative of a miscarriage?

First two miscarriages started like a period. Third was discovered at a scan.

Look after yourself OP. No way of really knowing atm what's happening. Fingers crossed it's just embryo implanting safely Flowers

Thing is I already have two children and never had early bleeding with them so I'm not sure what's going on

Early bleeding on its own does not necessarily mean miscarriage - I had a bit of spotting with both my pregnancies that went to term and AFAIK it's quite normal, as is some cramping while your uterus expands.

I had a MMC, which is a bit different. I passed one small, weird looking clot and knew something was wrong and it was, but again that one symptom on its own didn't necessarily mean anything. That's the thing with a lot of early symptoms - they can mean something or nothing. Good luck.

I passed a thick clot of transparent jellylike mucus with some blood in it, which in my heart of hearts I knew was my mucus plug. Then I started spotting red, then it ramped up to periodlike bleeding the next day. I passed the sac on the third day.

Hi coffee, it could go either way. Could be implantation bleeding / spotting, when embryo is getting comfy. But it could also be the start of an early miscarriage. Unfortunately only time will tell. Get some rest if you can. See if epu will do repeat hcg blood tests to see if the hcg hormone is rising adequately. This will help to see what is going on as a scan will not show a great deal at the moment Flowers

Mine was continuous bleeding like a heavy period. I MC'd at 7/8 weeks.

Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about X
