A message of hope

I feel compelled to share this message that it might give others hope, after you were all so supportive with my last post (www.mumsnet.com/Talk/miscarriage/3077742-Husband-need-advice-on-supporting-through-mc)

DW had some bleeding at 5 weeks, and this ruined her spirits after having had a mc earlier this year. I posted here about it, we girded ourselves and tried to stay hopeful that it was just an anomaly. Then at just under 8 weeks it started again. This time we couldn't take it.

We went to A&E, and saw a very nice doctor, and were asked to return for an early scan a couple of days later.

I wasn't confident, but pretended fairly well for DW.

Got an ultrasound at the EPU, and my little child has a heartbeat. He or she is 15mm, and exactly 8wks.

Don't lose hope.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that baby continues to grow and be strong. Hoping for a very boring rest of the pregnancy. Congratulations. Xxx
