How do I know if I have miscarried?

Hi I wondered if anyone could help me understand what's going on.
I January I had a miscarriage, the worst experience of my life with the worst pain I have ever had. I ended up going to A+E And being put on morphine as I was screaming in pain.
It started a couple of days earlier with spotting and then got worse and worse. The excruciating pain lasted about 4 hours before passing the pregnancy (at 9 weeks).

Recently I got pregnant again, although I hadn't got round to taking the test I knew. I was 2 weeks late with all the symptoms. On Friday morning I was getting ready for work and I felt a pain in my stomach (like the begging of a misscarried) I went to the toilet and there was no blood. I went and sat down, took some tablets and the pain more or less went away within 15 minutes, I went back to the toilet and saw blood and then a large clot came out (what I think was the pregnancy) all day I was bleeding in not a lot of pain and passing clots. It is now Sunday and I am still bleeding but no pain or clots. I was just wondering if a miscarriage has happened this fast for anyone else? I see people talking about their experience and it always sounds like my first on,me, I haven't heard of anyone having miscarried that fast. Could this mean the worst isn't over? Or can this actually happen?

When I had my miscarriage I felt as if I was on my period, had cramps, blood and clots. I was using pads every hour.

I think it's different for everyone, I would suggest going to your doctor and explaining. They will take a blood test and urine to see if you are pregnant and then they will go from there.

I hope you are okay, I understand how you must be feeling ❤️ xx

Thank you for replying!!
Yeah that's what I was thinking everyone's experience is different I just hadn't seen anyone have the same experience when looking online so I'm that's why I'm a bit worried.
Booked in the doctors Wednesday so hopefully I will know more Xxx

I'm sorry you had to go through this.

I recently miscarried at 6 weeks and it was like a bad period with some additional back ache. It all happened in a day or so, plus I kept bleeding lightly for another 3-4 days - all in all it was not too dissimilar from a period and if I hadn't had positive tests I wouldn't have known. GP referred me to EPU who scanned me on day 3 of miscarriage/period and found nothing to be seen. They took bloods which confirmed I had miscarried.

I hope you get a definite answer soon and can put this behind you. Flowers

Hi, so sorry you're going through this Flowers
I recently miscarried over the weekend, my bleeding started on Thursday (very light) and continues today, I was told over the weekend at the hospital after them doing my bloods that my hormone level had dropped to 9 and that I was in the process of losing baby. It is difficult, I suggest you go to the doctor and ask for a scan just so you can have some clarification. There have been cases of bleeding where baby has made it, however I convinced myself that I was one of these cases and was then inconsolable when the doctor informed me that I wasn't. I hope you're doing okay, you'll get through this, lots of hugs
