How do i go about ttc after miscarriage and d&c

I miscarried at 13 weeks and 3 days and 2 days ago had a d&c.
I'm heartbroken to say the least.
I feel like my heart won't mend till I'm pregnant again.
My bleeding has stopped but I've heard it starts back up again after a d&c.
Some people might think I'm thinking about this all abit too early but me and my partner are desperate for another baby.
What can I do to get my body ready to ttc and when can I start trying.
What are your stories about ttc after miscarriage and d&c's?
When's best to try?
Shall I prepare? (Ovulation tests, folic acid, ttc lube)
Please help.

Sorry for your loss. It really is the worst pain. Doctors usually advise to wait until you've had a "normal" period before TTC. I used ovulation sticks which pretty much told me I'm never ovulating, found it depressing. I got pregnant when I binned them and took the pressure off. Give yourself time to grieve and hopefully it'll happen sooner rather than later for you.

I had 2 more healthy pregnancies after 2 MCs (between DC1&2 and 3 & 4) it's horrible but there is no reason to think you can't conceive again and go full term. Be kind to yourself, grieve and only when you're ready try again. Hand hold from me.
