5+4weeks pg and have had quite bad period-type pain for last 3 days. Went to GP yesterday and she said almost certainly early mc. Still no bleeding. Anyone else had this? Pain is quite bad but GP says can't do anything as it is such early days. Feeling very low and know others must have gone through this. How long is it likely I'll have to wait? I feel like at least if I know the worst I can start trying to cope with it.

Good luck Minicooper - really hope things go well tomorrow. x

Just had transa (inconclusive) and transv scans at epu and have been reassured that all is apparently as normal for a 5+5 week very early pregnancy! Thank you all so much for your support and advice - wouldn't have known to try a epu without MN. Obviously no guarantee for future, but feels like we've got over the first hurdle! Thanks again - I know that many who advised didn't have such good news.

Minicooper · 04/04/2007 17:17

Thanks, Mumto3girls. Hope things go better for you - quite a roller coaster ride as you say.

Pucca - yes, have to go back in 2 weeks - mw said she wants a big fat hb rather than the slight flutter we saw - can't complain at 5.5 though!

NineUnlikelyTales - good to hear a happy ending!

Thanks again and here's hoping!

Minicooper - Just skim read the thread. I had early bleeding at 6 weeks and quite bad period cramps until about 12 weeks. Had two early scans and all was fine. Gave birth to a healthy baby boy 12 weeks ago.

Fingers and toes crossed for you xxxxxxxxxx

shonaspurtle · 04/04/2007 17:32
