Hiya

I was getting positive pregnancy tests from *9DPO
*
I tested everyday until period was due and all the same
Yesterday I did another test (period 3 days late) it was positive
Did one the same night and it was negative ? I had some cramping all last week but my cramps have really almost gone now
No sign of period

Could my hcg really if disappeared within hours?
I don't know what is going on xx

Hi Lydsim

Have you previously miscarried, or is this a new pregnancy for you? I ask, just to clarify if you've previously miscarried that all hCG is out your system.

If this is your first pregnancy, the hCG hormone is usually strongest in the the morning, so fmu can test positive when dilute urine (later in the day) may return a negative result. This may explain your results, however would indicate you're at the early stages of pregnancy. As time passes if this is viable, pregnancy tests should remain positive regardless of time test is taken.

A positive followed by negative result can also be indicative of a chemical pregnancy. I've had four strong positive test, followed by a faint positive test then a bleed, and negative tests. It's always risky to test early as you pick up a chemical pregnancy.

Unfortunately, only time will tell. Fingers crossed this is a sticky bean. xox
