How long did you wait? Just had my first period since I miscarried and ready to try again.

I didn't wait at all - I got pregnant the cycle after a miscarriage twice. Unfortunately I also lost those and so now am having an enforced break to do some testing. Multiple doctors, including the consultant at recurrent miscarriage, have told me that there's no physical need to wait (after a 'normal' miscarriage - I think there can be reasons to wait after an ectopic), so whenever you feel like it's what you want to do you can. I'm sorry for your loss and hope you're doing ok.

If you're psychologically ready then go for it. After my first mc I was told that the chances of getting pregnant are best in the first 6 months post mc. I wasn't ready so didn't try for a while, but this time we're going to start trying as soon as possible. Hope you're doing Ok Shonagh.

Hi Lifeofpies, I hope you don't mind me asking. But after you waited a while from the first mc, did you then get pregnant again when you did try and was it a successful pregnancy? I'm sorry if it's personal you don't have to answer.

That's ok leeloy. No, sadly I've just had a second MMC at 8+5. Even though I'm desperately searching for answers I think it may just be bad luck...
We waited a few months before trying after my first MMC and got pregnant 13 months after it. I am 'older' though - 38.
