I started bleeding Thursday evening at 12 was pregnant, went for scan on Friday and they identified a blighted ovum. I'm devastated and feel so stupid. There wasn't even a baby there, just an empty sac. We couldn't help start to put plans in place, looking at baby stuff, even thinking of names.
I'm heart broken and just want to get the MC over with (I'm bleeding with period type pains already) The hospital has said they can get me in next Friday for the surgical option with general anaesthetic. They said it may happen naturally between now and then. This seems like such a long time to wait, I'm terrified of going into work in case it happens in earnest there as I'm an hour and a half commute on public transport to get home.
How long would it take naturally and what should I expect?
Has anyone else had to wait a week for the surgical option? Or got seen to sooner?
