1st Miscarriage

Hi, I've just had my first miscarriage at 7+5. I opted to have mmc and had this on 19/06/2017, I was really nervous and the hospital told me all the wrong information about what was going to happen so I was very anxious when I got to my appointment to find everything was different than what I had prepared myself for. I then passed the sac on 21/06/2017.
I am just wondering as I have read so many things how long after the mmc does the bleeding carry on for?

So sorry you have had a bad experience as if a mc isn't enough without a lack of information.

It's different for everyone. I've had 4 and from my experience the bleeding after passing the sac lasted just slightly longer than a normal period. You should hopefully be over the worst with the cramps easing and less bleeding but you are probably going to feel completely wiped out for a few days. You might be a bit anaemic so try to eat well. Also, it is emtionally exhausting so get lots of rest of you can and don't plan too much for a couple of weeks. I'm no medical expert though, this is just my experience. Take care of yourself and get medical advice if you need to.
