Hi all. I had TFMR five weeks ago, at 12 weeks. I have continued to bleed since then, but never very much, and mostly old, brown blood. Yesterday I had the start of what seemed like a more normal period, and that has continued into today.
I thought perhaps I should go to the doctor, and she took swabs and arranged for me to have a scan.
She has also prescribed me Metronidazole in case of infection, for two weeks. This is a pretty heavy duty antibiotic from what I have read and I am sort of reluctant to take it unless I definitely do have an infection. Has anyone else been in this situation? I guess I should just take the pills?
