Suspected miscarriage

Hi everyone I've came over here from pregnancy and looking for some advice. I got a positive pregnancy test then a few days later I started bleeding a light watery pink and then it got heavier. I am having to wear thin pads. I'm too early on for the hospital to do anything and I'm so impatient so I took another test and it came back negative. I keep thinking oh it's maybe because I'm bleeding it's doing that but I think deep down I know it's a miscarriage. Anybody else been through this?

It's called a chemical pregnancy. . Nothing will be detected on a scan. 1-4 periods of women ttc can result in these.

They are cruel and shit.

Sorry this has happened but it won't have any baring on ttc in the future.


I have had 3 - keep things in perspective that it was really really early days and keep your emotional strength to try again and not go to pieces.

Imo it's the best way to deal with them. .

Sorry English, it sounds like you've had an early miscarriage.
The pregnancy test would still be positive otherwise.
The hospital won't do anything I'm afraid. It's a good idea to speak with your GP though and they can log the early miscarriage.

Like Justmade said, it's very common unfortunately. I know it's shit after seeing that positive test
