Cycles after miscarriage

I had been ttc for 2 years when I eventually got pregnant. Sadly I miscarried at 7 weeks February this year. My first af came 32 days later, cycle after that came 27 days later and this month I am 10 days late. I am usually a regular 28 days. Pregnancy tests have came back negative, I've had 2 tests that had what I thought were faint lines but I'm now thinking they were evaps! Is it really common to have irregular periods after a miscarriage? I had light brown spotting 5 days before af was due and it only lasted a couple of hours. Spotting is new for me as it's never happened before. Would be really grateful if you would share your stories. I'm going out of my mind lol x

I can't really advise as I am prone to irregular cycles anyway, but I do feel like everything is more irregular than ever after my MC in March. Last month I had a 36 day cycle but ovulated on day 14. Weird!! I can't seem to fathom it out at all. From what I've read it is common and may take a few months to return to 'normal'.
Is there's still a chance that you could be pg? x

Thanks for your reply. My first 2 cycles were fairly normal and returned quite quickly after my miscarriage so I don't understand why this cycle is messed up. I ovulated both times after it too except this month I think. I got 2 high fertility readings on my clearblue opk then back to low without reaching peak. Few days after that my cheap opks started getting darker. However the day I was due af I got the strongest positive opk I've ever had. My doc says it's to act as if I'm pregnant as I might well be if I ovulated late etc, I've to retest in 2 weeks but I am so impatient lol. Sorry for the long reply lol.

2 weeks ...oh my goodness that is a long time to wait!!
At least theres still a chance of some possible good news then! Keeping everything crossed of you. Let me know the outcome. Good luck x

I know 2 weeks is a long time lol. I'm pretty sure it's just a long cycle so I'm not too hopeful. Thanks x
