Worried about miscarriage/eptooic pregnancy

Hi,
I'm probably worrying about nothing but I'm 5wks and 6days with my first baby. I'm 37 and terrified about miscarriage/eptopic pregnancy. I've experienced the period pains/cramping but today I've had severe lower back pain and now have a medium pain in my lower right abdomen area. Is this normal? I read lower back pain can be a sign of miscarriage. No bleeding or spotting. Help?

Some cramps in early pregnancy is normal. As long as you are not bleeding that's generally a good sign. I think if the pain persists and you are worried about its severity then maybe go to should speak to your GP

I had sever pain on one side of my back, up from hip to bottom of rib cage at 11 weeks which was on-off for about a week. Convinced I was having a second miscarriage .( had a missed miscarriage early in the year) anyway turns out at the 12 week scan it was nothing to worry about an baby is doing absolutely fine. I think isolated back pain with no other symptoms isn’t cause for too much concern.
