When can I expect af after an ERPC?

I've passed my miscarriages naturally previously but this one was surgically managed.

Does the day of surgery count as cd1?

That's what I was told by the surgeon. Can't give you anything more... I'm still impatiently waiting!

I think it still all depends on when your hcg drops to zero. Roughly speaking, i think, most people ovulate two weeks after hcg hits zero and get their period two weeks after that. Are you testing negative.

I haven't done a test Blush surgeon said to do one about now but I feel a dick buying one when I know I'm not pregnant

You can get them pretty cheap on amazon play. Takes the sting out of it a little. No frills, but I got 15 for under a fiver. Mine is still very faintly positive, but I would swear I had ovulation pains at the end of last week. Must have been something else!

You could try temping to identify when you ov if you want to know when period will come?

I'm using a pack of cheapy Internet tests to look for a negative since for once, I actually want a negative!

Unfortunately if you still have hcg in your system ov tests aren't reliable, so it's temping or just wait and see.

I've just ordered a pack of cheapies from Amazon prime should be here tomorrow. It never ends does it.

my first erpc i got af exactly 28days later.

most recent erpc its been just over 5 weeks and i am getting signs af is imminent now.

i didnt do a pregnancy test as hb didnt stop till passed 13 weeks and have spent the last 5 days petrified i was pregnant again Blush

Hopefully it will end for us soon play. I've ordered a thermometer which will also come tomorrow. So hopefully will be temping from Tuesday morning!

When I had my ERPC they were quite forceful about waiting until I'd had a 'proper' period and on reflection, I think it was good for me to have a little break but everyone is different, the waiting is awful, so sorry you're going through this.

Do a test though, it took about a week for mine to be negative and then 50+ days for me to get next period.

I've also been refererred as this one is third. Amazing how many women are in same boat. Thinking of you.

af arrived monday which was just short of 5 weeks after erpc if that helps.

I had an ERPC on 1st December last year and still haven't had a 'proper' period. I just get black spotting for a day or so every 27 days 😥

Yes I've been trying since the end of December. I test positive with OPKs every month but clearly something isn't right 😥 Had an ultrasound last week which the doc wasn't concerned about (3mm lining and a cyst on my right ovary (although at the scan they said follicle ready to burst?!) ). They're now referring me back to gynae at the hospital. Im so fed up. I (like everyone else i imagine!!) just want my baby back 😢 Xxx

I think I've had af this week. I say think. It was some pale pink spotting for 3 days then that was that. Is this normal after an erpc?

Play I think I've read stories on here of all extremes. I am currently on, and much heavier than normal. Feels like such a relief though. Hope you're doing ok.

Heya hope you're keeping well. I'm alright I think trying to muddle along and wishing the days away until I get a letter with baby's test results on. It all takes so long!

I'm not sure if the light spotting was a period as I've had a very vert faint bfp. Going to test again in the morning and if it is I'll speak to my gp as it may be it's not all over yet Sad
