Has anyone had 3mcs+ then a healthy baby?

I had a miscarriage at 4+4 in Feb last year, then took a break from ttc as was getting married. Conceived again first try in January then a natural mc at 5 weeks in Feb. Conceived again straight away in March.

I had a scan last week when should have been 7weeks+ but scan showed a 5-6 week pregnancy (gestational sac and yolk sac). I have to be rescanned next week in case my dates are just wrong, but I don't see how they can be 2 weeks out so am devastated and preparing for the worst.

This means I've conceived and lost the baby every time we've tried. 3 cycles, 3 miscarriages. I'm 30, bmi is 20.5 (perfect), hypothyroid but treated and tsh levels 1.5 (also bang on).

I know I will be referred for testing now but I just wondered whether this has happened to anyone else and it was just bad luck? Did you go on to have a successful pregnancy and if so did you need treatment?

I'm half clinging on to hope that this one will be ok but know deep down that it isn't and want a plan of action.

Hi 2 mcs discovered at 12 week scan then my ds then four more and then my dd. Saw an amazing dr privately as was getting nowhere on NHS prescribed aspirin, prednisolone and progesterone pessaries and more importantly reassured me it wasn't my fault. Not sure where you are based but can send you his details if you want to PM me x

I'm sorry for your losses.

I just want to check - are you raising your thyroxine after bfp? (Get test first then raise)

You could try to get your tsh a bit nearer or below 1, a couple of extra 25s a week.

Also, try taking extra folate (not folic acid) alongside your pregnancy vitamin.

No but in mid to late 30's i had two mc's then two healthy DC's. I have underactive thyroid &!on thyroxine. I left plenty of spaces between to allow my mind and body to recover,

I had five mcs followed by a sixth pregnancy resulting in baby DC who is currently asleep in my arms. I had all the normal NHS tests and there was no explanation. I then saw Prof Siobhan Quenby at Coventry who diagnosed hyperfertility and put me on progesterone and Klexane for the first 12 weeks. They were wonderful there and so humane. Do refer yourself there if you can. You do have to pay but it's a university research centre so it's way less than going fully private.

Me! I had two missed miscarriages and an early one, then had three very easy pregnancies. Tests didn't come up with any reason but I was scanned weekly for DC1 up to 12 weeks.

Thanks for the recent replies. I'm 1.5 weeks post-MVA for mc no.3 and feeling ok actually. I've booked an appt with Dr Shehata following a recommendation on this thread.

ekphrasis I've had tsh levels done immediately after bfp each time and they've been fine. 2nd mc I was actually a little overactive (0.18), then with the most recent I was 1.47. Advice is to stay under 2 so I don't think that's the issue. Will definitely try the folate though - thanks!
