Had an early miscarriage confirmed today and I feel so empty and hopeless.

Not really my partner thinks I should just be OK I think. And I'm so incredibly sad. His family weren't happy about it either so I think their all relieved too.

You're bound to feel empty and hopeless - that's exactly how I felt. I'm still sad and my miscarriage happened 3 months ago. Take the time you need and talk to those who will understand. People on here are so supportive and have cheered me up when I've had low moments xxx

So sorry Lolly. I had two miscarriages in 2013. It never leaves you. People who havent gone through the same could never understand. Never give up hope

That's even harder without supportive people around you. You must feel very lonely with your sadness. Have you any friends you can talk to?

I have 2 children 12 and 14 but not with my current partner. He wants to try straightaway but I'm not keen on him even touching me let alone making a baby right now

Oh it's so early. I am afraid I have no wise words other than to say try to be kind to yourself and try not to feel any pressure to be okay again or to try again. You need him to be there just to listen and support for now.
