TTC after miscarriage

This is my first time posting a thread so please bear with me.
So I had a mmc 2 months ago that was discovered at our 12 week scan. After seeing a heartbeat at a 7 week scan (I have fertility issues) we were devastated. We decided to try again and started my drug regime again straight away and just confirmed that I have ovulated this month.
I am now in the dreaded two week wait and am finding it awful I just can't deal with the not knowing if we are pregnant or not and am worrying how hard it will be if not as we really want it to happen (we fell the first time I ovulated last time)
Anyone else been though the same or got any words of wisdom?

Thanks
Xx

I had a similar experience kiki I got pregnant my first month but lost it at 7 weeks. The first month was hard but I just distracted myself as much as possible. Take heart in the fact that you now know that you can conceive! That's what got me through, that's much more than some women are able to do. And eventually it will happen and it'll stick.

I'm in my 4th tww since I had my MC and it's still hard but if you focus too much on the stress it's so much harder.

Try and force positive thoughts. Keep busy out and about, active wrapping presents or Christmas shopping and relax and pamper whilst you still can! I'm making a point of regularly having obscenely long baths to make up for the lack of them I will have when I have a little one!

Keep your chin up, you'll get there Flowers

Thank you for your reply its much appreciated and I'm sorry for your loss.

Of course you are right with the distractions, its those quiet moments in between that the 'what ifs' are all I can think about. I like the idea of long baths perhaps I will treat myself to some nice bath bits to help relax and enjoy. We are away for Christmas so hoping that distraction will help if it doesn't happen for us this time - i hate that others have had the same heartache as us but its nice to know I'm not alone so thank you for sharing.

Good luck for your bfp I hope this month is your month xx

Have you joined any of the ttc groups? They are really helpful. Especially a long term one I'm on square one to grads and it's a lovely group

It's always hard i'm afraid but mumsnet is really helpful. I've had two mcs this year and been fortunate enough to get pregnant again both times. It does just feel like this year had gone on forever.. waiting for scans, waiting for period, waiting to ovulate, waiting for preg test, waiting for scan and repeat!

I've watched a lot of netflix, put it that way!

I've not joined any other groups this is the first time I've reached out as such, but thank you for the recommendation I shall give it a try!
