Where am I in my cycle after a miscarriage?

Can anyone help? Does this count as a 'period' in terms of the start of a cycle? Or do I need to just wait and see?

You need to wait and see. This doesn't count as your period. I had a miscarriage at 20wks and my period returned after 6wks. It was then a bit erratic, but settled back into roughly my "old" cycle. (we waited 5 mths before TTC again -- which we did)
