When do OPK's work after miscarriage?

Hi, I'm 3 weeks post surgical management and am TTC again.

I know that OPK's can pick up old pregnancy hormone, but how long for?

I think OPKs are less sensitive when it comes to detecting hcg than real pregnancy tests, so if you've had a negative pg test, you are in theory good to go with OPKs. However, my body did weird things when I tried OPKs post-mc: my first proper period came 2 days after I got a smiley face. I was raging!

Thanks, I've had a negative pregnancy test and appear to have had a positive OPK today. I'll keep doing them and see what happens then.
