Trying after a 5month miscarriage

Hi everyone , just wanted to post to ask whether anyone else has had a mid pregnancy miscarriage and tried straight and had sucessful pregnancies? I had a 5 month miscarriage 2 weeks ago and im now finally feeling ready to try again as i so want to be pregnant and have a baby its my dream, i'm also a ftm.. Im going to start trying today and just wanting some reassurance, i worry alot and just want to know if anyone has got pregnant straight away after miscarriage? Wish me luck!!

I had a miscarriage at 5 months after trying to conceive for 3 years. Very unexpectedly I got pregnant within a few weeks, though didn't hold out much hope for the pregnancy. I had a very anxious time, including a hospital stay at 20 weeks for a huge bleed, and promptly finished work. I now have a wonderful 8 yr old daughter ( and 4 year old son) and still have to pinch myself.

I had a miscarriage at 3 months after trying for 6 years. I was pregnant within six weeks. Good luck.

Are you having any investigations at the hospital where you had the late miscarriage? Have they given you a review appointment?
If so, it might be better to wait to ttc after the appointment in case any results are abnormal as sometimes people need extra things in the next pregnancy and you might miss out on them if you are pregnant too quickly.
Also, make sure you are both physically and mentally healing from the miscarriage. Hopefully the next pregnancy will go well (although you will understandably be v anxious) but you need to be well enough to cope if it doesn't work out.

So sorry for your loss , I've not had experience some can't give you any advice but wanted to wish you all the best and hopefully there'll be more knowledgable posters to help you.

I'm so sorry for your loss My daughter was stillborn at 40+5 last March and my son was born healthy and well in jan at 37+5 (induced because of anxiety). The pregnancy was hard going mentally but physically everything was fine. I had a lot of implant bleeding but we think that was down to me being so heavily pregnant just a couple of months before.
If you do become pregnant take all the support you are given. There is s thread on here called the rainbow cave for mums pregnant with their rainbow baby after losing their angel. It was a godsend for me to have other women to share the journey with.
