THE LISTER VERSUS CREATE

Hi Guys
I am completely new to this, but it looks like a brilliant place for advice. So thanking you all in advance.

My husband and I have been TTC for 3 years, we had all the tests and everything came back normal from both sides (his count was a touch low but nothing major). We tried IUI 3 times at The Lister, on the second time we conceived but sadly had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. We are now going to do IVF this month and are due to start next week at The Lister, they have put me on an antagonist protocol. However, I have always had concerns about the amount of drugs IVF involves and have recently read about mild IVF at Create, so I am now debating whether that might be a better option (This isn't based on a financial decision at all). Has anyone else been in this predicament or had experience of either? I have found The Lister ok, but through out my IUI's I was given a lot of incorrect information and find I have to research everything myself to make sure it is right.

Hi. I don't have any experience on Lister versus Create although my friend has had two take home babies from two cycles of IVF at Lister but having gone through IVF myself (at Barts) I've some experience of the drugs you have to take. To be honest I didn't find the process half as bad as I was expecting to but I guess I was lucky in that I didn't overstimulate or anything like that. My only advice would be to go with what you feel comfortable with. Good luck xx
