I found out last week I'm having my second missed miscarriage in 6 months and that they won't refer me for tests until I have three. Which hopefully I won't!
So while I get myself together mentally, please tell me your positive stories about conceiving after miscarriage. Was it third time lucky? What did you do differently? It would make me feel so much better to hear some happy stories. I have one dc already - totally normal, uneventful pregnancy that time.

I had a MMC at 12 weeks with a very traumatic experience where I had to be hospitalised through A&E. Eventually had D&C.

Then had two further miscarriages.

Then had an ectopic and managed to narrowly avoid surgery.

As trite as it sounds you just have to keep going and not take no for an answer.

Taking 75mg of aspirin and cutting down on caffeine were the big changes that worked for me. Both recommended by recurrent miscarriage clinic.

It's horrible, lonely and isolating. I felt the world was deeply unfair and everyone else was having a much easier time than me. Turns out so many people had been through the same experience and it was the ones who sailed through that were more unusual.

Sorry for your loss.

I had a mc, then had dd who is 2

Had a further mc, then another mc a year later.

Next cycle, pregnant again. Now 13 weeks and so far so good :)

My pregnancies seem to stick if it's within a few cycles of a mc.

Things I did differently the times I haven't mc:

Much reduced caffeine
No alcohol (although this time I had 2 gins the night before my positive test)
Exercise up until pregnancy test
Avoiding all stress in first trimester
Taking vitamins including D3
Avoiding chemicals
Lots of fruit, veg and protein. Until morning sickness kicks in!

Good luck in the future x
