I am booked to have a D&C next Wed., baby died @ 6.3 weeks but my 'womb/sac' is about 10/11 weeks. I've known for a week now and can't believe I still have all the bloating, tiredness and huge heavy sore boobs. Does anyone know when these feelings will sudside? Will it be soon after the D&C? Any help/advice or experience would be appreciated. Thankyou.

So sorry to hear your bad news. I think it takes everyone different amounts of time to recover physically and emotionally. I had three spontaneous miscarriages and only felt better once the physical side had passed. My instincts suggest that you will only begin to feel physically better once you have had the D&C. Best of luck. Thinking of you.

I had a miscarriage on Christmas day and I still have sore boobs and tired etc...keep thinking oh maybe I am still am pregant and I lost a twin or maybe I concieved again really quickly....but I know in my heart of hearts its my body playing tricks based on left over hormones.

Thankyou for your posts, coping with the emotional side is bad enough but to still suffer the symptons with no beautiful baby at the end of it is too much at the moment. I do count my blessings as I do have two fabulous DD's - 3 just seemed so perfect to me.

Oh you are just like me - except I wanted 4 and I have now had my 2nd mc.

I cried at the doctors today - and stupid woman did nothing except tell me stuff I already know! I only saw her 2 weeks ago to tell her I was pregagnt and she didn't even remember. Do they not take notes? Anyway she could have taken my blood pressure - 1 minute of my time, placebo effect - I feel better someone has something and I am normal and so better luck next time etc....

Thanks cazzybabs and sorry to hear your news - fingers crossed for us all. Was convinced I was going to start 'miscarrying/bleeding' last night as I had the most awful backache down one side but nothing happened - which is the less of two evils, D&C or to bleed? Still not sure just know that I would hate for my inquisitive 5yr old DD to see anything.
