when will it stop??

Hi all,

I found out I'd had a missed miscarriage at my 12 week scan on the 3rd Feb. I had a natural miscarriage on 6th/7th Feb. The bleeding virtually stopped last Wednesday but I have continued to have spotting on and off since. Has anyone else had this and how long did it last? I'm keen to ttc again and just want my body back to normal! Thanks in advance

Hi hun, sorry for your loss. How far along were you when you had your missed miscarriage?
I haven't experienced this, but I would suggest taking a trip to see your GP if it doesn't stop by Monday. Sending hugs to you .

Thanks for the reply Hun. I found out at 12 week scan but the baby had died at 6 weeks I think I will take a trip to the gp and see what they say if it doesn't stop. I had a scan a few days after the miscarriage and they said everything had passed so fingers crossed its all ok x

Very sorry for your loss. I had an MMC four years ago. Very similar to you: diagnosed at 12 week scan, baby had died at 6 weeks and then had a natural miscarriage. I had proper bleeding for at least two weeks and then spotting for a week or two after that. There was nothing retained- it just took a while to stop bleeding. Apparently it sometimes goes that way. Which is horrific because you just want it to be over. Its a horrible experience.
