Today was my due date

...but we lost him at 16 weeks in August. Not much to say at the mo, just wanted to mark it here really. Just bought myself a big bunch of red roses. So wishing I had him.

Sorry I went away for a while there! Thank you everybody. Sorry goulash. It's so rubbish isn't it. At least soon everyone will stop going on about January and new year all the time. It was going to be the best January ever.

It is rubbish eastegg, I'm seeing getting through today as a bit of a milestone. Hopefully I can stop looking at pregnant women wondering how big my bump would be compared to theirs. It doesn't mean I will forget about it, but I'm kind of glad the pregnancy bit is behind me. It has been a hard day so I left work, bought myself some lovely sushi and have had a nice bath. Feeling a bit stronger now. I haven't wanted to pretend today is just a normal day but also didn't want it to become a big thing either. I am sorry that you're on a this shitty journey too, but also glad to know that I'm not alone. Hugs

So sorry Eastegg. Remember chatting to you on an older thread. My due date was last Friday.....lost our little girl, Rosa, at 20 weeks back in Sept.

I'm struggling a bit with life in general tbh. I've lost my get up and go. I'm so tempted to quit my stressful and anxiety ridden job it's unbelievable. Can't work out whether it would be the best or the worst decision of my life! Can't believe I'm in such a different place than a year ago and it's not good.

I remember my due date (I ended up having 2 revised ones which made it stranger). It was more peaceful than I imagined. I have to say I felt much better once my due date had passed, I still can't quite say why.

I'm sorry eastegg, it is so sad.
I mark my due date every year, but quietly on my own. My baby would have been 7 soon.

So sorry to hear you lost your precious baby Eastegg. My beautiful boy died in July 2012, just 5 days before my planned c-section. I also had a MMC at 12.5 weeks in November 2014. A wise old friend of mine once said that the only thing that really helps is 'TIME'.
Thinking of you on your due date, I hope the weekend has passed by peacefully.
