Late period - could it be?

Hi,

I am new to here and don't know all the acronyms (sorry) but have looked on here for advice and support from time to time. Can you help?

I had a missed miscarriage (twins) in March last year at about 10 weeks. I had to have a D&C in the end. I then found out I was pregnant in November but had an early, natural, miscarriage at about 5 weeks plus 4.

I was due on Monday but no sign of my period. I have read loads and know that your cycles can be really messed up following a m/c, so should I just sit tight and wait? I did a pregnancy test today and it was negative.

Will I even ovulate this cycle? Should I just relax and think about it next cycle?

Drs told me it was OK to start TTC (one I do know..!) straight away. Scared to test too much, as I almost don't want to know early in case we have another loss but also so hopeful.

Help!!

I really don't think you will be able to tell for anyone else's experience it sounds like you've had an absolutely horrible time of it so far It is possible that you are pregnant but it could also be your cycles being irregular. I would just try and relax about it as you say and wait and see.

Thank you for replying so quickly. You're right, I think you just look for hope by hearing about other people's experiences - especially when they are so similar to yours. Nobody tells you how difficult this baby making business is!!

Well it does happen - people I one I have fallen the very next cycle after an mc. I'm still at the stage of trying with no bfp yet so I'm afraid I don't have personal experience to help with :( I'm sure lots will come along though.

What's BFP (sorry, newbie)

I'm pregnant again from the first cycle after miscarriage so yes it does happen! Still waiting on an early scan to confirm how far along but we most likely conceived 10-14 days after the mc.

I would wait another week or so and test again

Still no sign. Starting to imagine symptoms I think.. nausea and tiredness. It drives you crazy.

Thanks Crumbles12, just saw your message. That's exciting news! Sorry to hear about your m/c but great to hear you conceived again. Have you found it difficult to conceive in general?

I had some discharge earlier with a tinge of pink, so nervous about my period starting. No pain, just a headache and tired. Guess I just have to wait and see.
