Hello all
As some of you will know, the charity Tommy's - which funds medical research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provides information on having a healthy pregnancy - has supported Mumsnet's Miscarriage Care Campaign in the past, and we thought some of you might like to know that today they're launching a campaign to address the silence surrounding miscarriage, and to raise funds for a centre conducting research into issues related to miscarriage.
Tommy's say:
"Tommy's is launching a campaign to end the silence and misunderstanding around miscarriage. We polled 6,000 women who have experienced miscarriage. A shocking 80% felt like a 'failure’ after their miscarriage, and 85% said they didn't think people understood what they were going through. Tommy's wants to change that. Our campaign encourages people to share their stories on social media using the #misCOURAGE hashtag and to donate to the UK's first national miscarriage research centre, which Tommy's will be opening in April 2016. Thanks
