Is it going to be worth it?

Hi, I used to post regularly but haven't for a while and have now changed my username.

I suffered 3 miscarriages before I was referred for Recurrent Miscarriage and was given Cyclogest and Aspirin. Luckily this worked and earlier this year I had our son.

We decided to take the 'see what happens' approach, which was probably stupid looking back. I fell pregnant and was referred to EPU due to my history. I started the Aspirn and Cyclogest again and went for early scans. Had one at 5w2d, all fine, one at 7w4d, all fine, HB seen etc. 2 weeks later went for another but the baby had died. Was booked for ERPC but lost it all naturally the day before. This was the only MC out of all them where there was actually a foetus. 1st was blighted ovum and the other two were early at 6 and 5 weeks.

I've been referred back to the consultant but is there anything else he can do? Is it worth it or should we just accept that we have our beautiful DS and that's it now? I had the 'sticky blood' tests which all came back fine. It could be a progesterone issue, but even taking it this time again it didn't help. Someone mentioned a genetic issue where a certain gender is rejected by the body but I don't know how this can be detected without a foetus.

Anyone who's been in this sort of situation and can offer any experience or advice I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
