Hello everyone,

I had a rather traumatic miscarriage 10 weeks ago. Ended up in a&e after passing out a number of times with heavy blood loss. The care we received in a&e was not great and the experience was pretty horrible. We were admitted and put on a drip and had a pretty horrific procedure while awake to remove the baby to stop the bleeding. Unfortunately we were eventually discharged without any information on miscarriage or where to seek support and advice. I have been on the miscarriage association website and have posted on here a few times and had great support. But 10 weeks on i am still very up and down. Some days im fine. Other days it floors me. I have suffered with depression in the past and recognise the signs. I teally think i need to get some counselling but not sure how. I worry that my gp would take forever to arrange, and wonder if there are other routes i could take, perhaps something specific for miscarriage? Has anyone done this, or know the best route i should take? Thanks in advance.x
