Miscarried 5weeks

I was 5 weeks along, I got a really bad pain in my abdomen and then started bleeding pretty bad. Couple hours later I had grey tissue like come out. What does the baby look like that's miscarried at 5weeks? I wondering if that was the sac or something other then the baby

It is scary but please get yourself to your GP or call NHS 111. No one can tell you on here if you have miscarried for sure.

You must see a doctor, OP, so you can get a scan to check what's happened. It's not a pleasant experience (they have to do an internal scan) but necessary to make sure you are Ok.

You wouldn't see a baby at 5 weeks, a foetal pole would be a few mm at most, but what you described could be the sac. Most EPU's don't scan before 6 weeks, but I agree you should contact them for advice. Call out of hours/111 if you are still bleeding heavily, or local EPU tomorrow if you feel physically ok. I suspect they'll tell you to take a pregnancy test in a few days to check it is negative, and scan you if it remains positive.
