what will happen?

I found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant today. but I also started bleeding. it's fresh, red blood with no clots and light/medium with some cramping. it's a bit harsh finding out I'm pregnant then looking like I'm miscarrying, has anyone else had bleeding/cramps and gone on to have a healthy baby?

I'm so sorry but at only 5 weeks and with fresh red blood, it's highly likely you are miscarrying. That early there is usually something wrong with the baby which meant it couldn't survive.

Doesn't mean it hurts any less, I've had 3 mc's and my first was at 5 weeks and was just like a very heavy period but I was devastated. I might have only just found out, but it didn't matter.

Marmite I hope you are ok. I was 7 1/2 weeks and going through a miscarriage which started on 1st July.
