Positive test after erpc

Hi,
I had the surgical management for miscarriage 2 weeks ago today. I did a pregnancy test on Monday just out of curiosity to see if my hormones were back to normal and it was positive, so far I have resisted testing again as I don't want to upset myself and will test at the weekend, but I just wondered how long it usually takes to get a negative test after the surgical management? I guess I am just paranoid that they haven't removed everything as i'm still bleeding lightly too. Seeing my GP on monday.

I've had 3 mc's and my time to get a negative tests was as follows.

Mc 1 - 1 week
Mc 2 had ERPC and was negative after 2 weeks
Mc 3 had ERPC and negative after 4 weeks.

It's so hard to keep seeing positive but if you are waiting to try again it does need to be negative

Depends how far along you were. It can take up to 5 weeks.

It's not quite the same but it had a tfmr at 22 weeks. I didn't test bit was advised not to for at least 6 weeks as I could get a 'false positive' (as in positive from our lost dd2 rather than a new pregnancy)

It may take a while but it reLly depends how far you were
