Hi iv had 3mcs in 7months, the first there was an 8week embryo but last two were blighted ovums. Iv just got the results from blood tests for autoimmune issues such as sticky blood and they came back fine, which is good but now I'm thinking what the hell is the issue then? Just wondering if any1 found a cause of multiple blighted ovums? And did any1 have the miscarriage tested? Xx

Hello hopefully, I'm so sorry you find yourself in this position. I'm just recovering from my third miscarriage in six months so I can imagine how you're feeling.

None of my miscarriages were blighted ovums, although the second two I was never offered a scan to confirm anything.
It must be very disheartening to not know why this is happening but maybe you can find some comfort in the statistic that the vast majority of women who experience recurrent miscarriage for no apparent reason go on to have healthy pregnancies.

Were you're tests done on the Nhs? The other thing to consider testing for is natural killer cells. There are a private clinics that do these tests or a lot of ladies on the recurrent miscarriage thread have gone to the self funded nhs clinic at Coventry. If you need more info they're a very friendly and knowledgable bunch.

I hope you have people around you to look after you and please take care of yourself.
