On Friday at 7+5 I went to a&e with pains and I had some red blood. They scanned and it was inconclusive. Took bloods which were at 5,000 hcg. Back for bloods and a scan yesterday at 8 weeks, still light bleeding and was told my empty sac measured 18mm - 5+6. Bloods had gone down to 4,000. They are sure I will miscarry.
I was sent home with painkillers. I have a scan booked tomorrow to double check. And an appointment next Monday to check if sac has come away. But as my baby died 2 weeks ago shouldn't the heavy bleeding have started if it was going to work naturally? They said I can have treatment but prefer to wait a week to see if nature runs its course.
