Hi Bells I'm so sorry for your loss. I've had 3 mc's (with 1 of those a missed mc) and of those, I've had 2 x ERPCs.
Please do not be scared of the ERPC, I found it was the best option. You close your eyes and then it's over and you can start grieving. You will have minimal bleeding and pain afterwards but the anaesthetic will make you feel very tired and groggy.
Be kind to yourself and take your time.
Before you start again, you must ensure you take a test and it's negative. Which is heartbreaking I know but it's the only way to be sure you can start again. Took me 3 weeks to get a negative test.
The thing to remember is that every single pregnancy is different. It's a new start, a new egg, new lining - almost like hitting the reset button.
Having an mc is heartbreaking but it you have just as much chance of having a successful pregnancy.
My only other bit of advice is try and wait for your period first so you have a starting point. Doctors do prefer to do this as it makes dating so much easier. Basically it means if you know when your last period was, when you have a scan you can be dated accurately - if you don't, your scan can be inconclusive and it be so distressing because you don't know if it's because you don't know your dates or if the same thing is happening again.
I really do understand that need to be pregnant again, after a forced 4 month break for tests after mc number 3 I'm trying again. But be kind to yourself and give yourself time xx
