Are these symptoms connected to miscarriage?

Very early miscarriage two weeks ago, on Thursday I started feeling faint, achy, lethargic and nauseous, this has continued off and on since then. I bleed a lot with miscarriage so think it "completed" but dh suggested these symptoms could be linked. Has anyone had any experience of this sort of thing (in which case did it just go away or did you see a doctor) or do you think it's just an unconnected thing?

Hi,

It could be unconnected but it could also be signs of an infection. If it were me I would get checked asap just in case. Did hosp offer you a scan to check the miscarriage had fully completed? I had retained products after mine so had to have the surgical option in the end.

Best wishes.

After at least two of my miscarriages I've had a fever. And despite being told to look out for a fever, NHS Direct weren't very helpful. Most recently a doctor told me it was probably a mild infection as last bits were coming away, which makes most sense.
But worth getting checked out because you can have more serious infections.
My doctor said he wouldn't need to see me again unless I had signs of infection. Then when I called NHS Direct we just went round in circles with me saying "I'm having a miscarriage but think I've got an infection" and them saying "so are you worried that you might be having a miscarriage?"...
If you're worried, do try and speak to a doctor.
