My hubby and I were so excited to find out we were expecting a baby. But on Friday I started to bleed, not a lot and was In no pain at all. I called 111 and they said they weren't too concerned but made me an appointment for an early scan as I was only 7 weeks pregnant.
Today I got to the hospital and they did another pregnancy test which has now come back negative so I didn't have a scan. was just told the baby is gone and that was it.
There was only a small amount of blood over a few days, is that It or Is there more to come? I'm so confused and heart broken

So sorry for your loss. Thanks Thanks

When I miscarried at 6 weeks last year my urine test was negative at hospital and blood test showed a small amount of hcg. The consultant told me that your body stops producing hcg when the miscarriage is underway and the levels drop quit quickly once your body has 'emptied' so sorry I couldn't think of a more appropriate word.

Please make sure you are looked after whilst you recover both physically and mentally. Brew Thanks

Hi I'm really sorry for your loss :(

I really think it varies between women and if its a straightforward miscarriage or not :( our linings build up different and some of us end up in hospital for a procedure to remove anything that's retained which can make the bleeding last a long time. It's a heartbreaking process :(

It's been a week since I was in hospital having a scan hoped to see something at 7 weeks and having blood taken 526 hcg tested again Thursday 370 so dropping :( and again Saturday was 131.

I had bleeding starting Tuesday but had no pain either light small clots ect but it's really hard to judge when your on the toilet :( Thursday was really bad I was having the pains in my back the same as with my daughter (I Labour in my back it was painful but not in absolute agony) when I had all the really big clots and tissue :( I guess by then it was obvious but they still want to ensure it drops to zero I have to go back in a weeks time. My bleeding has eased off now.

I guess the horrible thing is not really knowing to understand whats happened but everything is still so small around 7 weeks I guess it's to hard for them to know exactly what happened :( this is the part I'm struggling with atm.

Please take care of yourself and give yourself time to grieve x
