MMC - any advice?

I started spotting last Thursday and very luckily got a scan the same day. It confirmed there was just a sack approx 8 weeks in size .

I've been bleeding since and it's not calming down.

I am passing clots but just feel so ill. So nauseus all the time and exhausted.

Am taking paracetamol plus.

Any advice on what else I can do?

Have got my re scan on Thurs, will I still need to decide whether I need medical intervention?

TIA

Sorry to hear that hope you feel better soon.

I would suggest just taking it easy and rest as much as you can. Try and eat even if you don't feel like it. MC is very draining both physically and emotionally

Thanks

Sorry this is happening to you. With regard to intervention, it seems to differ around the country whether they actively suggest options or not - my hospital told me they prefer natural management if possible. I did some research into options and as I wanted it over with quickly, and it had already been a couple of months since it stopped developing, I wanted surgical management. I called and asked to be put on the list for after my confirmation scan. I'd say have a think about what you want and go in prepared.

Lots of rest and look after yourself.

Thanks both

I appear to have passed the sac this morning so I have just decided to not have intervention.

I am so tired. I feel so sick, and yes my appetite has gone.

DH doesn't want to try again so I guess that is it Sad

Oh wowser, I am sorry.

It's very early days to be thinking about TTC again.

Get rested and look after yourself. I recommend ringing the miscarriage association, they have a helpline - they listened to me sob down the phone and gave me someone to talk to at my darkest times.

Oh Wowser so sorry to hear this sad news.

Have a good rest and be easy on yourself ....I had a MMC similar term recently and the pregnancy symptoms continued for a while.... sickness etc. Hormones can play havoc for a while.

Will be thinking of you

So sorry Thanks

Oh Wowser really feel for you.

It's heartbreaking. I've had a late MMC as well the one at 10 weeks I mentioned in last 18 months.

I have an only dd who is 4.

I'm terrified to attempt another pregnancy now at 42.

I hope you are managing to get some rest. Will be thinking of you.

You're very lovely Only

I am sorry for what you have gone through Thanks
