Is this normal?

At 5+2 I started bleeding, I rang epc on Mon 2nd , they said to ring back on fri 6th if still testing positive, rang on fri, had scan and blood test on mon 8th march and there was sac but no yolk and still bleeding. Repeat blood tests on wed 10th march showed falling hcg. Nurse made appointment for me to return for pregnancy test on wed 18. At epc the new nurse said they were all ready for my scan, I was shocked as I was only expecting preg test and had two neg home tests and was not expecting scan. Nurse went and spoke to staff nurse and came back and said no scan needed and we are discharging you from the clinic. I was nolonger bleeding and thought it was all over.

On wed afternoon a long piece of tissue came out. I thought this must be the sac and while been shocked I thought this must be normal and it is all over now. Last night I got up to wee and another long put of tissue came out. Is this normal? When will it stop? How will I know if everything is out? It is three weeks when I started bleeding?

I would imagine you are now just passing tissue but I would call EPU for advice and reassurance!! X sorry for your loss xx

Thanks, I thought so but just wanted to check with other people. I kind of thought it was all over but then I had not passed any tissue before that.

Not a lot there at 5 weeks but you should still pass some pretty big clots! As long as it doesn't smell, or fills a pad in an hour or clots are bigger than the palm of your hand you should be ok (that was the advice given to me) but EPU are helpful if you need reassurance xxx

I am just about to give them a ring. I am not bleeding at all just occasionally passing tissue.
