breast lump 4 weeks post d&c after miscarriage at 8weeks

Wasn't sure where to post this- hoping someone can help as I'm in a panic!:o I am still waiting for first period post miscarriage...no PMS symptoms in sight but just found a large moveable cyst like lump in right breast. Breasts were so painful during pregnancy this is first time I've done a check. No pain now. Is it possible lump is due to hormones or am I clutching at straws? Will obvs get checked out at docs after weekend but hoping someone can offer some hope and wisdom- thanks in advance x

There's no point telling you not to worry because of course you will!

Hormones may well have changed things but as you know, it's best to get it checked out.
The vast majority of breast lumps are harmless. I've had a lump like yours and mine turned out to be fine although they removed it to be on the safe side.

Try to keep yourself busy until you can see your GP
