Tests suddenly negative at 6 weeks

I posted in conception but here is probably a better place I think

I am (was?) by my calculation 6 weeks pregnant. I have had positive tests since a day or two before my missed period, getting stronger and stronger.

I suddenly decided to do a test today and one came back positive (a Boots one) but the internet cheapie ones all came back negative. I did one a few days ago (IC) and it was really strong.

I guess this means I am going to miscarry?

Internet cheapy ones? I'm not sure I would trust them to be reliable or consistent ...
Go to boots tomorow and buy Clearblue and see what happens. And if you're really worried go see your gp and see if they can test you / put your mind at ease. If you are miscarrying there's not a lot that can be done I'm afraid, but until you know for sure please try not to panic as the stress is really not good for you and the baby. Wish you luck

Internet cheapies are utter rubbish. Always give me negatives when I'm getting a strong positive with branded ones.
What made you test? Did you feel something was up?
