I've just had beta hcg measured and at 14 days post surgery it's 47. Is that normal? Still very much getting a bfp Sad

It has always taken me 3 weeks to get a BFN. Most home tests are 25 or 10 units so you would not be far off a negative on a home test. Are they going to check it again? If it's low and falling you have nothing to worry about, it just takes a while to fall to zero if you had high levels to start with. If you have no planned follow up I'd do a home test in another week and get back in touch if it's still giving you a positive.

They say you should get a negative preg test after 2 weeks ...... It took me 10 weeks!! My HCG was 44 at 8 weeks after!!! It's so horrible because you keep needing to do tests and seeing that positive when you know its not real just keeps your emotions all over the place!!

As long as your levels are actually reducing you have nothing to worry about and I'm
The 40's isn't that high!!!! Hope you get back to normal soon!! Xxxxx

Thanks for the replies. The tests I'm using are 10mlu that are still giving me a +'ve result.
I'm going back in on Tuesday for repeat bloods so hopefully it's falling. My only other mc' s were natural/spontaneous and my hcg dropped back to zero really quickly afterwards.
