Irregular periods after MC - when to POAS?

Hi, just wondering if anyone can offer me some advice...

My periods have been a bit all over the place since miscarriage in August. September & October horrible and heavy, didn't note dates as I was a mess physically and emotionally. November and December AF started on 22nd each month so I thought it was settling down but then it started on 16th in January.

DH and I are officially TTC again now and I have a good feeling this month but just wondering when I should POAS (assuming AF doesn't show up)? I don't know whether to test after 16th or wait until after 22nd?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks :-)

Do you have an idea when you ovulated? Could you base it on 10-14 days post ov rather than AF?

Good luck!

I don't really have any advice but can completey empathise!! I had my first AF recently post MC back in December - OPK got dark at Day 9 and been faint ever since - now on day 17!! Its all over the place - and I'm not the most patient of people!! Hope you get that BFP soon x

Thanks ladies Smile

I think it was about 2 weeks ago. I can usually tell when I'm ovulating based on symptoms but did try OPK for the first time. I tested every day when I thought I was ovulating but not a single positive result. I found them a bit confusing tbh!

Frustrating as I used to be so regular and knew what was going on, last time I just knew I was pg before I even took a test. Now I don't have a clue what's going on!

Just going to try and relax (!) and maybe hold out for a couple of days before POAS!

Personally it is best to not test so soon, the more eager u r the more disappointed u will be , everyone tells me they try and try and when they give up it happens

No AF yet but still not worked up the courage to POAS...
