I can't do this!

Hi. Think I may not be in right place but have got to share....... Saw GP Saturday mornig as worsening cramps and light bleeding - was told I was miscarrying......presented myself at A&E on Monday morning and said i needed a scan-lo and behold heartbeat was heard!!! Bleeding and cramping stopped- now over 30hrs later I have fresh blood (with some tissue like matter on wiping!!! I am beside myself again. scan also showed x2 corpus luteum....... please help I don't know what to do and am going a bit crazy

The roller coaster of emotions is awful. Has the possibility that you have miscarried one twin been suggested? ( 2 corpus luteums, one heartbeat..)

There are plenty of us here who will hand hold until it's clear what is happening and we are equally prepared to cheer a happy outcome and an ongoing healthy bean as to mourn with you for a lost one.
Do you have a follow up scan booked?

Hi sorry for late reply and thanks for your response.
Follow up scan is on Tues 10th. Yesterday nil bleeding/discharge/cramps today dark blood - no clots as such- but again what could be small amounts of tissue!?!! How do people manage to remain partially sane during all this uncertainty??? No mention of potential loss of twin despite x2 corpus luteum (one on left one on right tho). Was also told embryo found was far too small for my dates but I know my dates are right. My boobs have reduced++ in size and soreness over last week, no nausea + reduction ++ in what was a crazy appetite too. I'm convinced I've lost my baby. My heart goes out to everyone who is going through or has been through this xxxx

So sorry you're going through this, it must seem like an eternity until the next scan. I can only hope for the best outcome for you but I hope you will find lots of support on here. c

pheno...I just wanted to add that I had a pregnancy very much like yours...took 18 mths TTC then a big bleed at 6 weeks...convinced a mc..scan at 6weeks showed empty sac and 'scar' ? old sac...scan at 7 weeks...heartbeat...DD now 21!..I also continued to bleed throughout this and another pregnancy...sorry no other advice just wanted you to know I was where you are and everything was ok....I too probably 'lost' twin....I wish you all the luck in the world.x
