Waiting for my second miscarriage!

I am seven weeks pregnant and had some pink discharge and period type pains on Tuesday, not much but enough to cause concern. I have been for a scan today and the sac is only 5 and a half weeks growth. I have no doubts about the date of my last AF and can therefore not be so far out on my dates. The hospital have advised me to rest for two weeks and go back for a scan. I am certain of my dates and I know that I am losing another baby, (mc in July at 12 weeks) and now I'm just waiting for the bleeding to start. I am frightened to go too far from home and am worrying about going through the whole thing again. Anyone any advice on how to cope?

aww hun hugs firstly...cant advice you how to cope as everyone is different. It really is possible that your dates could be out even if you know when AF was..I have had this a few times. I lost my first 2 babies to mc and it was devestating. I then went on to have DS who was 3 this week. When pg with him I didnt even know as I bled heavily and it was only when I went for a scan that they said I was pregnant. I then had a missed mc not found until I was 15wks which tore me about but was grateful for ds...however 3 mths later I got pg with DD who is now 10mths and I am also 6mths pg with no.3 I know it is heartbreaking to loose your little angels but there can be light at the end of the tunnel aswell.Thinking of you!!

Thanks for your kind thoughts, sorry I couldn't reply but lost the connection for a while. Nemo it is great to hear positive stories from those who have had mc and gone on to have succesful pregnancies. Auzi - sorry to hear of your loss, the waiting and being out of control is the hardest thing. I have two beautiful DDs and who are a delight and a welcome distraction. I know I am really lucky to have them. I am just finding it hard to cope with losing another baby.
