I went for an early scan due to light bleeding , it's my first pregnancy, I was 8 weeks pregnant , they couldn't find a heartbeat and said it wasn't as big as expected, I've been told to come back Monday for another scan buts it's 90% chance it's a pregnancy in trouble !! Totally devastated , don't know what to expect , thought I would be able to go to work but couldn't function , scared I may miscarry at any time. I started bleeding today !! Is this it ??

Hi Kelly. I'm so sorry you're in this situation, it's a really frightening time.
I've been there too. The waiting is the worst bit and my way of dealing with it was to be prepared for a worst case scenario, just incase its not good news Monday.
Be gentle own yourself and take some time off work as its a huge thing to process. And to deal with emotionally as well as physically.
is your partner with you? Have you got support to look after you over the weekend?

Hi kelly so sorry you are facing this. I've bumped up the thread "tips for coping" which I hope you'll find helpful. The Miscarriage Association website is v good for practical information as well. I wouldn't go to work until you've had your follow up scan and have some clarity. If you do miscarry your GP will sign you off for a while to recover physically and emotionally.
