Hey I just need some advice really.

About 5 months ago I found out at my scan that I had a missed miscarriage I was offered 3 different types of ways to lose the pregnancy fully and I opted for the 4 tablets it was the worst choice I made a I fell seriously ill with sepsis and in the end had to have a d&c anyway..5 months on and I've just found out I'm pregnant again I don't know how far gone and I'm majorly scared I don't know what to do with myself I haven't contacted my doctors yet as I'm afraid it's all going to happen again. I think I'm putting more stress on my self.

If anyone could help that would be great.
Thank you

Firstly Congratulations about being pregnant again puddingpie

I had a mmc in my first pregnancy and had the pills and it was a horrendous experience. So know what your going through - I got pregnant again and was incredibly stressed about the possibility of another mc and a death in the family. Despite all that stress I did have DD.

Please try not to stress (impossble thought that sounds!) Try and phone your GP's and get referred to a Midwife and say you don't know your dates see if you can go for an early dating scan - that might reassure you.

Good luck and keep my fingers crossed for you.

Congratulations pudding it's understandable that you are anxious but the chances of it all being ok this time are very good. Have you joined a "pregnancy after miscarriage" thread? It helps to have somewhere where everyone understands that pregnancy after a loss isn't much fun.

Thank you so much it does make me feel better knowing that I'm not the only one..its hard not to stress and yesterday my nan was rushed into hospital and basically doesn't have long so I'm really worked up about that and now I'm worrying more about hurting the baby and as soon as I can I will call my gp. I think once I have a scan ill be at ease, but thank you so much for your help.
