what to expect at EPU appointment?

I miscarried last week at 5w 5d following IVF frozen embryo cycle. I was scanned at the IVF clinic last Friday and along with bloods, a miscarriage was confirmed. IVF clinic did a referral to local EPU for an appointment this Friday. What will probably happen at this please? Another scan and bloods I'm guessing? Am still bleeding but it's getting less. Hoping to avoid EPRC (horrible term!) or medical management if possible. Thanks!

I had a miscarraige at around the same point. I didn't require any medical intervention as the scan showed everything had passed. I hope that will be the case for you too, it might be more likely as it was early and those I've spoken too that had a loss at a similar stage were the same.

Slightly different for me I had blood tests first following a bleed which showed a lower than expected level of hormones and then a scan afterwards which didn't show any embryo, followed by yet another blood test a few days later which showed a further drop in hormones confirming it had happened. Because they didn't see anything in the first scan a second one wasn't needed, or so it seemed.
