My husband is trying to be there for me and also my family and friends they all tell me i will ok but WHEN? i just feel lost

I cant tell you when you will feel better as i have no experience of this.
I just wanted to say that i am sorry for what has happened to you and my thoughts are with you.
I have fertility problems and even though i have a lovely dd, it does not stop me feeling desperate for another, isnt it awful when people say 'oh well, at least you have a child'

Oh God auzi. I am so so sorry. You must be absolutely numb.
3 ectopics I have just had one and tht was bad enough.
It will take you time and more time to get over this. In the meantime look at your beautiful girls and try and make the most of them.

oh auzi I don't know what to say. I have had one ectopic and they took one of my tubes, and that was hard enough. It must be awful for you.

Are you in touch with the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust? They might be able to help, maybe offer you someone to talk to about it?

auzi · 05/10/2006 09:07

Thanks for talking to me it dos help to know that ther are other people out ther who reaaly do know how i feel i am really sorry for you both and i hope that you go on to have health babys in the future but just remember that as you have had 1 eptopic you are at risk of haveing another one.
take care and thanks again for the advise {smile}

I am so sorry for you auzi. I had 2 ectopics & lost both my tubes but 3 must of been torture for you. After 3 attempts at IVF (miscarried the first 2)I have a miracle DS. I can not go through the pain of IVF again so have to accept he will be my only child....its tough. I'm here if you want to talk.

Thanks babyjojo the first time i have a eptopic i lost my left tube i then went on to have my my second daughter who is now 3 after that i found out i was expecting a scan confirmed that it was yet another eptopic. when the doc went in for a look it turn out that the egg was in the stump of my left tube . at this point i was happy that i still had another chance as i still had my right tube so all looked good.
But again i found out i expecting again but this time when the doc went in again what he found so bad that they had to give me the full works so i am now trying to come to terms that i cant have anymore children and i have to spend the next 20 years on HRT. thanks take care

I've just nipped over here from the EPT's site and would say if you haven't yet visited, please do so. For anyone else reading, the risk of ectopic is 1:80 initially; the risk of another ectopic is 10% after that.

Hi,

Anyone had experience of an eptopic? I just had one last month and had to have a tube removed. Feel really bad about it.Hospital made a mistake and i ended up having a D & C as well as a laparotomy. Anybody had this?
